My cousin the fire fighter!

My cousin Lindsay is fighting forest fires in the Black Hills of South Dakota. She and her team were in Colorado on June 25 around the Pikes Peak area. A 17 year old boy drove his car off the cliff and my cousin and her team were the first responders mentioned from the South Dakota Forest Service. She was one of the people who repelled down the mountain to help the rescue efforts. They repelled down the mountain using their fire hoses.

Lindsay is a great and amazing young woman. She loves to help others and she is full of energy. She is a great fire fighter! I’m so proud of her and all of her accomplishments! Way to go Lindsay!
