I’m so busy with my business, my boy’s athletic schedules, and family time that I forget to do “Me Time”. It’s not something I plan to forget, but sometimes it happens.
If I schedule things, I won’t forget them. I use a Google calendar and a day time to keep track of everything. The daytimer is more for my to-do list then the scheduling part, but I still write the deadlines I have each day.
I have a hair appointment today and that’s my “Me Time” for the week. It will be nice to spend two hours getting pampered and talking to my hair dresser about life in general. She is a wonderful lady and we just recently found out that she owned a hair salon a few years ago. The funny thing about that salon was my grandparents cleaned it for her. What a small world.
But anyway, getting back to the scheduling of “Me Time”, it’s a must. It will relax you and give you added energy to keep your routine going. This time can be anything from a hair appointment to getting your nails done. You could sit down and read a book or do Bible study. Whatever you enjoy doing or you find relaxing is what you should do.
Even busy women business owners need “Me Time”, so find it, schedule it, and enjoy it. Your family, friends, clients, and co-workers will be glad you did when you come out on the winning end with a relaxed mental and physical body.
Now I’m off to get my hair cut and colored. I’ll be back later!

So important! I try and schedule “me time” first thing in the morning. I meditate, pray, write, etc. Makes for a really great day
I schedule my me time in the mornings too. It just seems work out best. If I get started doing other things that time just disappears.
I am also taking some extension course…that is me time. I try to study at least 6 hrs a week. Now this time I really have to schedule in. I usually extend a couple of hours in the mornings.
I think it is harder with kids. Although my kids are grown and gone I am in charge of my grandson and that always has to come first.
