It’s funny but I was just dialoguing with Robert Plank about this yesterday — making a list of all the tasks I want other people to do for me, that I could outsource.

One reason I haven’t been eager to outsource my article writing is finding someone who knows the content as well as I do, who can write in my own “voice”. For me, that’s important. Do you have any suggestions about that? I’d love to hear!

Oh and by the way, social network management is high on my list of things to delegate :-)

I learned a long time ago that outsourcing is not an expense, it’s a profit center that allows my business to grow and expand. That was a big hurdle to overcome, and not at all intuitive.

Hi Nancy,

Thanks for your comment. Outsourcing is a great way to grow and you’re right it is a hurdle that some never get over.

Article marketing is difficult to outsource when you’ve written yourself for any length of time. My suggestion would be to find a ghostwriter and have them write one for you with the understanding that it may or may not work out. I’ve done that for several of my ghostwriting clients and it’s gone both ways.

Another option is to outsource more things you do during your day so you can write the articles yourself. If you have the finances, I’d outsource everything you possibly can so you have time to do the things that grow your business and the article writing.

Hope that helps. If there is anything else I can answer for you or if I can help you with anything, please let me know. :)
