2 Types of Management for your Business

Posted by admin  Published in Article, business, Email Management, outsourcing, Tips, virtual assistant

When you have a manager for your business you’ll know things will get done and you can focus on those tasks that require your attention and you can put your attention to the things that really grow your business and help you to make money. Your manager could be the only person you have working for you or you may have a number of people and your manager can guide them and make sure they know what to do and how to do it correctly.

There are two types of managers that will help you with your business. One of them is a business manager. A business manager usually is the one that will manage everyone that works for you. This would include a Virtual Assistant, marketing assistant, and a ghostwriter just to name a few. You’ll need to make sure your business manager knows what you expect of each person and how to give them the information needed so they can do the job you’ve assigned to them.

It’s important to have weekly calls with your business manager so she can inform you of any problems that may have come up or how projects are coming along. This also gives you the ability to share new projects with her and if you hire someone else to help you can come up with a plan for how your business manager will work with this person.

The other type of manager that works good for business owners is an email manager. Emails can take over in a very short amount of time. Once they take over it’s hard to take it back. You may have signed up to receive something for free only to find out they put you on their list or you may have signed up for a newsletter thinking it would be valuable to your business, but then found out it’s not what you thought.

When you think about it, SPAM is not the only thing that clutters your inbox. You’ll see newsletters, promotional items, group and fan page emails from Facebook, information from Twitter, and so much more. Wouldn’t it be nice if you had folders set up for these types of emails? Your email manager can delete emails that aren’t necessary, she can file things you need to review later, and advise you of emails you need to review right away. You’d work your email more efficiently if you didn’t have all of those things to do each day.

When you use a business manager and an email manager for your business you’ll find you work more efficiently and you’ll have more time to do things you’ve only dreamed of doing. You’ll be able to add more to your business, work special projects, and have more time with your family when you don’t have so many things to do for your business.

Does your Email cause you Stress?

Posted by admin  Published in Email Management, Tips, virtual assistant

Stress is a business owner’s nightmare. It can cause you to say things you don’t mean and you may find yourself taking things out on your clients or customers. That’s not good to do so it’s important to find ways to avoid stress.

One way to do that is to hire a Virtual Assistant to help you with email management. She can go through your email each day and remove all junk from your inbox so you won’t have to deal with it. She can also file things you can review later and she can handle anything that doesn’t require your undivided attention.

You’d be amazed at the amount of time you spend every day going through your email alone. When you don’t have to worry about it anymore you’ll find you have more time to dedicate to the tasks that actually grow your business. You may find you spend an hour or two each day just on email and when you don’t have that task any longer you’ll have that time to make phone calls or write for your business.

If you find yourself stressed every day because you don’t have enough time in your business day to deal with everything, you should consider hiring a Virtual Assistant to handle your email. You’ll find once she starts doing this task you won’t ever want her to stop.

Today is the official start to the 4th of July holiday weekend. As a business owner will you take your smartphone with you to check your email? Now be honest, will you take it and check it regularly?

That is no way to enjoy a vacation, now is it? A true vacation is where you don’t take your smartphone and check your email. You may find that is hard to do, but did you know there is a solution to this problem?

The solution is to hire a Virtual Assistant. She can check your email while you are away. If you give her specific instructions she’ll be able to handle anything that’s not critical and let you know when something must be handled right away.

Don’t let your business take you away from having a good time with the family and getting the rest you need and deserve. Handle your business in a way that makes sense and works for you. One way to make this happen is to hire a Virtual Assistant to help you handle it the way you want.

Tips for Making Your Email Manageable

Posted by admin  Published in Article, Email Management, Organizing, outsourcing

Email is used by almost everyone for both personal and business. This makes it easy to communicate with customers or clients. More and more people are using email for several different reasons.

One is because it’s easier and takes less time than traditional forms of communication. Another reason is because it’s cheaper than a stamp. You pay for the internet service anyway and it’s free to send email. The last reason is the time it takes to get your email to its recipient. Mail time can take 1-10 days where email takes a minute or so to arrive.

One down side to email is SPAM. No matter how hard you try, SPAM will slip through the cracks. The people sending SPAM are becoming smarter and smarter as time goes on. They are learning what it takes to get the email through. They’re wording things in a way that people can’t tell if it’s SPAM or a regular email.

With the amount of SPAM coming through business owners may find themselves spending way to much time dealing with it. This takes away from their business in that they are losing valuable time that could be spent working and growing their business. The amount can also be overwhelming to a business owner and they may ignore the email which could cause them to lose business.
