My husband and I went to the chiropractor this morning and I’ve been thinking about it all afternoon. He has a very successful practice and there’s a reason for that. There are many reasons to say the least, but one stuck out in my mind.
When you go to the doctor, more times than not, you don’t really want to be there. But there’s one thing that makes it better and that’s if the doctor you go to is carrying and treats you right. Bed side manner is important since you’re not at your best when you go.
Well I must tell you, our chiropractor is good when it comes to this. While he’s load and speaks his mind, he really does care about his patients. He treats them right, he wants to help his patients to feel better, and he’s not out to rip them off by charging an arm and a leg for his services.
Now you might ask what in the world this has to do with business. It has a lot to do with it if you think about it for a minute. Think about how you run your business. Do you care about your customers or are you there to make a buck? Are you charging a fair price for your services or are you charging an arm and a leg just to make a profit?
When you treat your customers like you’d want to be treated, you’ll get a lot further. People will refer others to you if they’re happy with you and what you offer. If they’re not happy you might as well forget it. That’s why it’s crucial you put your best foot forward every time you deal with one. It’s also important you help your customers through difficult times so they continue to come back.
While you know you started your business to help others and earn an income that will help you support your family, more than likely you didn’t do it to make yourself rich. If you do become rich it will be from your hard work and the fact that you care about your customers. When you’re creating your fees, you need to charge a reasonable rate and what is fair for your services or products.
Your business is very important to you and when you run it the right way you’ll reach success. You’ll have customers that want to purchase from you because you care about them. They’ll be willing to refer you to others because of your fees and that you care about your customers.
