If people are networking the right way, they will ask you about your business. If you don’t have a business card to give them, they probably won’t remember you or your business.

3. Not collecting cards

When you go to a networking event, you are there to meet other people and build trust with these people. When they trust you, they will be more inclined to buy your products or use your services. They will also feel more confident in referring people to you for business.

The problem people have is they don’t gather business cards. When you don’t gather business cards you can’t refer people to them. When that happens they are not build that trust with you. Most likely they will forget all about you. When that trust is not there, they more than likely will not send people to you or buy from you.

Networking is a great way to build trust. It is also the easiest way to build that trust. When people trust you they will likely buy your products or use your service and they will feel confident about referring others to your business.
